The Cora P. Maloney College, formerly known as the Center for Academic Development Services, strives to enhance the UB experience for undergraduate students.
Obtaining its charter in 1976, the mission of CPMC is to increase access and opportunities for talented underrepresented students from diverse backgrounds CPMC focuses on a range of educational opportunities including; academic support and achievement, academic enhancement and enrichment, as well as social justice and cross cultural awareness. CPMC fosters the interconnectivity between UB students and their living and learning community, while recognizing the importance of its location in Buffalo, New York, a major metropolitan area of the state of New York and seeks to link its students’ learning, research, service and achievement to the potential and promise of a great city and region.
