The mission of the University Honors College is to provide exceptional experiences inside and outside the classroom for students during their undergraduate career.
Students accepted to the Honors College will participate in thought-provoking and specially designed seminar courses along with opportunities to engage in experiential learning through undergraduate research, capstone courses, study abroad, internships, an Honors Thesis, and more.
Honors College students will have access to faculty mentors, funding for undergraduate research and creative activities, early registration, priority housing, and other opportunities that make the program one of the most comprehensive and academically stimulating programs across the country.
Students will be expected to meet various milestones as they progress through the Honors College curriculum, which include completing 24 credits of honors coursework and maintaining a GPA set by the Honors College.
